Kiel Ranch Historic Park and Spring Wetland Habitat

Project Description: Restoration

CG&B began in May 2015 with a $2 million budget. The site is part of an original 240-acre homestead settled in the mid-1800s by Conrad Kiel near an ancient spring. Artifacts suggest it was a Native American gathering spot long before Mormon missionaries arrived. Kiel Ranch was placed on the list of the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

Hollywood Regional Park (still under construction)

Project Description:  Originally site was a Softball field now converted into a Baseball field including expansion.

River Mountain Loop Trail (Henderson)

Project Description: bike/walking path, restroom and parking lot.

The River Mountains Loop Trail runs for more than 35 miles on a loop around the River Mountains, which form the backdrop of Las Vegas and Henderson. The trail is 12 feet wide and paved, with an adjacent trail for equestrians for about 15 miles of its length. The surrounding River Mountains are home to one of the largest bighorn sheep populations in Nevada, which you may encounter on this trail.

Lone Mountain Equestrian Park and Trail (Lone Mountain and I215)

Project Description: 2.2 mile multi use trail

The trail leading to the top of Lone Mountain is one of the Valley’s most popular local hiking trails. The new, 10-foot-wide trail, comprised of decomposed granite, encircles the base of the mountain for use by horseback riders, walkers and joggers.

Project Description: Conversion to an artificial turf field

Paradise Pointe Park

Paradise Pointe Park, located on the southwest corner of Horizon Ridge Parkway and Archer Glen Avenue. The 5.7-acre park, which is less than a mile from the Sloan Canyon national Conservation Area and includes an open turf area, skate park, a basketball court, playground equipment, picnic areas, pedestrian trails and a restroom building.
